11 Reasons to go Electric This Summer

Brisk Spring days are quickly melting into Summer, and there’s no better time to ditch the drive for a ride on your eBike. Besides the beckoning sunshine, here’s a few more reasons to make your summer electric.

1. Explore More
When you go electric, we guarantee you’ll be spending more time in a seat, but not trapped in a car. Mountains, beaches, dirt trails, and roads are yours for the taking. Don’t sweat the hills, or at all for that matter. A silent electric motor will be your best friend on a scorching summer day, so spend more time outdoors and breathe in the fresh air!

2. Work on Your Most Important Asset — Your Health.

The best part about electric is that you have the freedom to choose the level of physical exertion on your ride. If you’re recovering from an injury, or have any health issues this is the perfect way to be active without the risk of overdoing it. Oh and did we mention the fresh air? Trees and breeze atop your eBike is therapeutic for your body and mind, let’s just call it #electrictherapy.

3. Work Happier
Have you told yourself all winter that you’d bike to work once the weather was nice? Be kind to your coworkers and yourself, and arrive at the office without breaking a sweat. Thank your eBike.

4. The Earth Will Thank You
It’s a commute without the pollute, and a step everyone can take towards eliminating city smog, traffic and noise pollution! At zero emissions, electric energy is genuinely sustainable, and that’s something to feel good about!

5. Errands Can be Fun, Seriously.

Errands don’t have to be a bore, grab your eBike and make them electric. Plus, carry more with electric power! A cart, baby chariot, groceries in saddle bags, we don’t know — you do you. Just have fun doing it.

6. Save Some Hard Earned $$

Summer is high season for just about everything: travel, beaches, parks, restaurants, you name it, which not coincidentally translates into gas prices. Swap your car for an eBike and make your own summer #sondorsdiscount. Parking included.

7. Experience the Freedom

Summer is synonymous with freedom, as is an eBike in so many ways. There’s the freedom from parking, parking tickets, traffic jams, time, space…! Okay, we’re not headed to space on electric power quite yet, but going uphill without sweat down your back, that’s freedom! So go places you couldn’t reach on a regular bike, on foot, or by car and experience ultimate freedom.

8. Live Longer

A recent study from the University of Utrecht found that for every minute you ride a bike, you live one minute longer. That’s a pretty compelling reason to pull your eBike out of your garage and go for a ride!

9. Spend More Time with Your People

Is there anything better than a lazy summer day spent with loved ones? Yes, actually there is. Summer days spent adventuring together on eBikes. Aw.

10. Make New Friends

When you hit the ‘buy now’ button for a Sondors eBike, you’re not only getting an amazing product to aid in all your adventures and improve your health, you’re entering into a nationwide community of electric enthusiasts who regularly hold rides, meetups, and cheer each other on via a x person Facebook Sondors owners group. You won’t believe the conversations you’ll start with strangers on the street admiring your Sondors eBike, so we do hope you like to socialize.

11. Beat the Heat.

Last but not least, can you think of a better way to cool off than creating your own air conditioning atop your eBike? We didn’t think so.
