Aftermarket Parts Advertised as ‘Upgrades’ Can Seriously Damage Your SONDORS

SONDORS has been recently alerted to the advertising and conversations taking place within the SONDORS owners group for aftermarket parts, prompting an official SONDORS statement on the use of these parts.

Some parts are being advertised to SONDORS owners as SONDORS eBike “upgrades”, but unless they are offered by SONDORS through direct email from @sondors.com, purchased from our website sondors.com — they are neither recommended nor endorsed by SONDORS.

Be wary of aftermarket parts such as batteries, controllers, motors, and LCD displays, commonly marketed as SONDORS “upgrades” that are not original SONDORS parts. Unlike SONDORS genuine components and official SONDORS parts, these third-party parts have not been properly designed, tested or engineered to ensure longevity, function and performance of your SONDORS.
Please be advised: third-party and aftermarket parts often advertised as SONDORS “upgrades” can cause extreme and permanent damage to your SONDORS.  We have received numerous technical support inquires from SONDORS Owners who have damaged their SONDORS by installing “aftermarket” parts.
