First Wave Clears Customs at Port of Los Angeles; eBikes Delivered by UPS

Malibu, Calif., July 9, 2015 – Storm Sondors, creator of the Sondors electric bike, today confirmed U.S. backers are now receiving their orders via UPS. The Sondors electric bike, the world’s most affordable eBike, is continuing shipments to U.S. and international locations over the coming weeks in fulfillment of the company’s popular Indiegogo crowdfunding campaign.

Delivery of the Sondors electric bikes to backers in the U.S. follows the company’s announcement of starting to ship units in May. The first orders to be produced, processed and shipped featured black frames with yellow rims. The production schedule is complete for all components of the other color combinations (black/black, yellow/orange and blue/black) with shipping underway.

“I am so happy to have been a backer of the Sondors eBike crowdfunding campaign! It’s been an exciting, informative and inspiring ride. And now that I’m riding one, I can say without reservation, that THIS is the eBike I have been waiting for! The motor’s got serious zip, the body’s well-built, and it is FUN to ride! All at a great price,” said Josh Rafofsky, backer of the Sondors campaign on Indiegogo. “Watch out, eBike industry, there’s a new player in town, and his name is Storm Sondors.”

“We remain on track! Bikes are arriving as promised and we’re thrilled for backers to have their first ride,” said Storm Sondors, creator of the Sondors electric bike. “We are incredibly grateful to our backers for their ongoing support and trust during production and shipping. It is a testament to the huge demand that exists for an affordable electric bike and we at Sondors are working hard to help meet that demand.”

The first eBike to deliver on the promise of an affordable, high quality electric bike, the Sondors electric bike is built for adventure with its wide all-terrain tires and water resistant motor and battery casings. Equipped with a 350WH geared drive motor powered by a compact, rechargeable high powered lithium ion battery, steel construction and pedal-assist, the Sondors electric bike meets or exceeds the quality and functionality standards of far more expensive electric bike options.

The Sondors electric bike is an incredibly affordable mode of transportation for the commute to work, cruising the beach, getting coffee with friends or for the everyday adventurer. The Sondors electric bike is available for a limited time price of $649, or half off the retail price of $1,299 and can be purchased here: https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/sondors-electric-bike
