Sondors Summer FAQ + Shipping Timelines

Summer ordering and deliveries has been keeping Sondors quite busy, and in an effort to better assist our owners with recent common requests and questions, we’ve put together some detailed FAQ with answers. Please follow along for answers to your questions, and if there is anything you would like to see added to this list, leave us a comment!

1. Can I change my order? It is not always possible to change orders, as the Sondors model works by putting funds directly towards manufacturing. Our eBikes are custom-built and we do not have an available inventory, so they’re built just for you! Please try to check and double check your order to ensure that it is the right bike for you before purchasing.

2. Does the charger ‘regulate itself’?

Yes, when the battery is completely charged, the charger will automatically shut off.  We recommend removing the charger as soon as possible after the charging to keep your charger in tip-top shape.

3. If I ordered two different eBikes, will I receive these eBikes separately?

Yes. Because our bikes are custom built, they may be built on different production timelines at the factory. Once manufactured, they are loaded for shipping to our warehouse where they are prepared for final delivery, normally via UPS. At this time, you will receive a shipping notification.  If you only receive only one tracking notification at a time, it does not mean that your second bike is delayed, it just means that one bike arrived at our warehouse before the other. Note that our current production and shipping system treats each item individually, so every bike and part ordered will have its own timeline and be shipped separately.  This is our standard process which applies to all of our bikes and parts, but we do try to provide you with an approximate delivery date for every model and color selection upon ordering.

4. When is my SONDORs eBike or LCD going to arrive?
For all orders we will be sending a status update email on Tuesday August 2nd.  Please be on the watch for this email which will give you the approximate delivery date for our order.

5. Average Production & Shipping Timeline:

*The above is an average expected timeline for production and shipping, however because we produce each model and color in batches, there is possibility for variation depending on demand and the possibility of available inventory.

6.  Are there bikes available for fast shipping?

We do have 3 SONDORs Original eBikes available for shipment in 3-5 days a.r.o.  Please check out our recent Burning Man Article to check these out.
