SONDORS THIN Battery Development Update

We are very pleased with how the Sondors THIN battery is turning out, we want to share some updates on the development process. Storm’s attention to detail has resulted in a very efficient, user-friendly and sleek design.  We’re right on track with our production and shipping timelines, and very excited to have THINs out on the road with backers!

Here are is a test shots and engineering pilot sample, an early shot off the steel tools!

These are used to confirm and fine tune the assembly fit of all components, including the interior controller, battery mount, cable management, battery, port cover caps and the assembled box’s fit within the frame.

For all fellow battery nerds out there, here’s some shots of tooling molds which are used to mold the Sondors battery box.

Not to be confused with the battery box above which is also triangle-shaped.  Our manufacturing timeline is going according to schedule and we can’t wait to get these Sondors THINs in your hands and out on the road!
